Shrimp and salmon bowl

Packed with brown rice, fresh vegetables and topped with avo, pistachio, sesame seeds and creamy cheese. Easy, delicious and so nourishing!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brown rice

  • 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 200g salmon fillet

  • 1/2 cup quark cheese

  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds

  • 2 tablespoons pistachios, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Rice: Start by cooking the brown rice according to package instructions. Once done, set aside to cool slightly.

  2. Prepare the Salmon and Shrimp: In a skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until it's flaky and cooked through. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.

  3. Assemble the Bowl: In a serving bowl, layer the cooked brown rice as the base. Top with the cooked shrimp and salmon fillet.

  4. Add Quark and Avocado: Spoon the quark over the salmon and shrimp, then add the sliced avocado on the side.

  5. Garnish: Sprinkle black sesame seeds and chopped pistachios over the top for a delightful crunch and flavor.

Feel free to add your favorite veggies or a drizzle of soy sauce for extra flavor!
