High Protein Almond Banana Bread (Gluten-Free, No Flour & Easy Recipe)

This high protein almond banana bread is gluten-free, flourless and naturally sweet. An easy, healthy recipe perfect for breakfast or kids.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 150 g hazelnut flour

  • 200 g almond flour (blanched)

  • 3 tbsp plain yogurt (Greek yogurt works great)

  • 3 dates, chopped

  • 1 ½ bananas

  • Finely chopped pecans

  • Dark chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp baking powder (or sourdough baking powder)

  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar (linked here)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. In a bowl, mash the bananas and add the eggs and yogurt. Mix well.

  3. Add hazelnut flour, almond flour and baking powder.

  4. Stir in chopped dates, pecans and dark chocolate chips.

  5. Pour the batter into a lined loaf pan.

  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.

  7. Let it cool before slicing.
